Inspection Associate Manager
Quality & Mission Success site lead for the Lockheed Martin Meridian, Mississippi location. Responsibilities include oversight of the Meridian site's AS9100 quality management system, developing processes and procedures to ensure product quality and conformity and managing a team of inspectors and quality engineers who have responsibility for the oversight of quality system conformance and product quality. This position will be responsible for the performance of approximately 8 - 10 direct reports, including performance assessment, career development guidance, assignments/tasking, merit and salary actions, training plans and staffing and recruiting. Additional responsibilities include managing program allocated budgets, proactively interfacing with the Meridian Production Operations site lead and support organizations, AMMM program representatives, DCMA customers, Labor Relations and HR and ensuring compliance to site and enterprise command media.
Basic Qualifications
Strong understanding of AS9100 and the associated process of compliance, surveillance and third party registration.
Familiarity with quality assurance and control efforts in accordance with enterprise-level command media and Program specific requirements.
Demonstrated experienced at building constructive partnering relationships with customers, employees, DCMA, and other business units.
Demonstrated experience in monitoring and maintaining budget allocations.
Desired skills
Previous experience leading a represented work force.
Understanding of C130 component build processes including work instructions, tooling concepts, engineering specification and requirements, foreign objects detection (FOD) techniques and inspection methods.
Demonstrated experience and qualified for performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems with a focus on continual improvement practices and the development and evaluation of effective preventive/corrective action plans.
Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills and organization skills.
Experience interacting at the executive level
